anyone in Connecticut? in need of help getting insurance from the state... single mom, 10 weeks pregnant, need to go to a doctor.
can anyone help me?
I'm new to the state and having trouble with figuring it out. its very simple in Florida.

I was going to say that here in Florida I applied for medicaid but it took them a month to review and approve it so I had to pay out of pocket until my insurance came through and they wouldn't back date either so I wasn't refunded but I needed to go and couldn't wait so I would just start applying now and hope for the best.

Go to the department of social services. Idk where they have one in Stamford but they have one here in Bridgeport or you can apply online for the husky insurance

Connect.ct.gov or look up closed dss office near you. You will need proof of pregnancy
