So I'm 21 weeks pregnant and for me this is really big. I had a miscarriage a few years ago and it literally broke my heart. My son is due in May and they are saying there is a cyst on the brain but not to worry till we have more tests done (I go next week for that) Has anyone else experienced this? What were your results?

they told me my oldest whose now 7 had one and it freaked me out! from what my doctor said it happens and most of the time disappear on their own!
I was told my baby had cysts on her brain and that I needed a level 2 ultrasound, which is just a more detailed ultrasound. when we did the level 2 scan a few weeks ago the tech told me "I was told I'm supposed to be looking for cysts on her brain, but I'm not seeing anything so they must have gone away on their own like usual" I've had another regular ultrasound since then and everything still looks great.
they usually just go away on their own, try not to worry :)
yes i went to dallas hospital to a specialist, and then a gentic counselor and we talked about my husbands family and my family background for down syndrome , which neither of our family members did, i also had a blood test for down syndrome and it came out negative, i also had 3 ultrasounds and they checked if it appeared again and thank God it never did.🙏
I really hope your right! I'll be 22 weeks for my appointment with the specialist who is suppose to do some high tech ultrasound and then see a gentic counselor? I don't understand any of this and I'm just anxious
my baby did when she was 18 weeks they told me that its very common and they usually disappear , i had another ultrasound at 21 weeks& it was gone thank God. i know the feeling but stay strong, everything is gonna be fine😊☺
