Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
How many of you waiting to use a crib till they got older my son will wake up every 3 hours in it crying he hates it but I put him in it every time he passes out should be used to it by now but if he doesn't sleep in it he will sleep like 7 hours at a time
We are having a terrible past few days. His bilirubin levels are 14.1 and I guess 15 is too high so he is being treated for 24 hours under the lamp for a prevention measure I guess. I haven't caught a break at all in this whole thing and it's really wearing on me. I cried the whole time they put the little eye mask on him and he was crying. It's hard that I can't do anything about it, I gave him a paci for the first time because I didn't know what else to do to help soothe him. I didn't even want to use pacifiers :(
Weaning We are finally on the path to being weaned! He was down to only nursing for nap time and at night but yesterday he did so well not nursing at nap time that we went ahead and dropped the night nursing as well! If definitely took forever to get him to fall asleep but thankfully I'm a sahm and Athena isn't due until April. Hopefully we find better ways to fall asleep quickly before then. I think the whole process would be easier if my husband would put him to sleep but sadly he works long hours and can't. I just hope we're actually done and he keeps handling it well. I'll miss it but nothing will change the bond I have with my little guy and hopefully 24 weeks is early enough so he won't be jealous of his baby sister.

my son has co slept with me since he was born I let him nap on my bed I would just feed him laying on my side & him facing me & when I knew he was sleeping or he let go of my nipple I would slowly move away but he would only nap for 30 minutes at a time

My guy always napped on me. (We breastfed also). CIO is proven to be detrimental to their emotional health and I could never do it. And what's the point of letting baby cry for 2 hours?! I believe in my baby's cries...especially under 10 months if they're crying they're crying for a reason (even if that reason is they just want to be close to their mother). Do what feels right for you mama. A lot of "advice" that I got went right out the window 😂

@aek91, I co sleep sometimes not always but when I feed him him and we nap in bed he sleeps for at least 2 hours especially if I am laying with him. but if I go off to do something else he will wake up within a half hour as well.
@kmally see and I've heard that about the CIO method and I honestly hate it. I have only done it once and that was because my mom was there and refused to let me go pick him up but as soon as she left I picked him up (: I probably won't let him CIO I hate letting him cry for even a few minutes.
@des_a_rayy what is EBF?
Thank you all for the advice, I probably won't try it I can't do that to my baby.

I would say do what you think is best. I hate when the in laws and my mom tell me to put her in the crib. I co sleep and when she naps she just sleeps in my arms. I tried to let her cry and it broke my heart to hear her crying. I didn't want her to think she couldn't rely on me to pick her up if she was upset.

@wyatts_mommy_0106, so does my son that's why I've only let it happen once, and that is why I don't like my mom watching him because she always tells me I'll just let him cry in another room. that makes me so mad.
@des_a_rayy so do i except while I'm working he gets it in a bottle. (:
@kmally lol okay thank you. and I will listen to their advice, except I'm the only one who has breastfed on my moms side of the family. my aunt was unable to her milk didn't come in and my mom chose not too. when it comes to breastfeeding I ask my aunt on my dads side she breastfed both her children.
@anuheas.mommy I can't let him cry either. he usually sleeps in my arms or in my bed. I don't co sleep every night we do put him in a basinet next to our bed but he usually ends up in bed with us by morning.

I'm lucky if I can get her in her bassinet. she has to be asleep in my arms for at least an 30 min for me to put her in it. @shelbilynne

i usually will put my son down first and then wait a few min then go in there and take a nap with him while hes in his crib. i also sometimes cuddle with him to take a nap. ive always been told to take a nap when the baby does.

@anuheas.mommy, same here I wouldn't dare try to do it any sooner or I'll be up an extra 30 mins just because I tried to soon lol

@acb0391, I have been told that too. but he has only been in his crib once, and the rest of the times his bassinet or my bed

that sounds like my son. he was mostly in my bed and his bassinet. i had to ease him into sleeping by himself in his crib. its not a bad thing to lay with the baby to take a mommy nap.
