My son, who's a month old, struggles to fart. He'll wake up, wiggle all around, hold his breath, try his hardest to push it out, he'll even turn red & a vein pops out of his head! Any other mommy's experience this with their baby? How did you handle it?

bicycles with his legs, hold him steady and kind of bouce him on your knee, gripe water works miracles, warm compress on the belly (then rub it in circles after)

My son had it really bad! It's a faze I think. Nothing worked with him and I tried everything the doctor recommended. Bicycling his leg would only sometimes help but the thing that eventually did was giving him a bath! It would relieve gas pains.

The bath works a lot! My son is the same way. As well as there is a gas relief medicine for babies (doctor recommended) at Walmart && I'm sure other stores. I use it on my son && hisgas comes out perfectly fine after it.

definitely try the bicycle method, it is amazing on breaking up everything!
