Do any mommas contractions feel like period cramps/tightening in your cervix my nurse keeps asking…

Feels like period cramps!

I just started getting slight period cramps this morning but she's been asking me this since yesterday morning hopefully there just practice contractions baby girl needs to cook for 5 more weeks @butterflytattooqueen

Oh okay. With my first I woke up to having period cramps, they were consistent and I was writing the time down every time I felt one. That morning they were 5-10 minutes apart and didn't hurt, just felt like period was coming. Then towards then evening after I went to the doctor (this was the planned day for induced) they said I could either stay or come back after I go eat. So we went to the mall. Those were contractions she said. they went to 2 minutes apart and those were the ones that felt like death. I would cry every 2 minutes when one hit. I wasn't dilated or anything. So I went back after I walked the mall and ate having contractions 2 minutes apart. Lol. They tried giving me pain shot (doesn't work) got epidural and waited for induction process. Long. I hope that helps any!

Sometimes they come early. I would just drink plenty warm and rest when you can. Or feel then coming on. Try warm baths! :)

My contractions started at 38 weeks.

Well I'm in the hospital now connected to an Iv on a liquid diet thanks to my gallbladder being packed full of stones so if I do happen to go into early labor I'm in the right place
