It really depends on the practice, at my first appointment they took a urine sample, record my weight and height, as well my blood pressure and then I was ask a few questions regarding both my fiancé and I's health. They took some blood at the end of my appointment. The nurse practitioner told me that at the next appointment they would do a full on exam.

Mine they took my blood pressure..he examined what my twins where measuring at..weighted me and then referred me to a specialist due to my history of hypertension..
