do u have him swaddled? and cuddle him close? babies are used to being cramped and they don't like feeling free. try what the other mom above said. is he latching?
How old is baby? Depending on age it could be teething pains, the suction could cause pain in the gums...also could be gas, frustration at a fast or slow let down...perhaps baby is uncomfortable? Usually when my girl whines and cries at the breast too much I'll let her burp, and if she continues like that I'll give her a break for a while, lie her down or let dad hold her, and either she'll calm down and welcome booby when I give it back, or she'll simply fall asleep....I think a lot of the time she's over tired and gets cranky, needs some quiet time to just calm down....hooe that's helpful for your situation!
He is 2 weeks and I did have an infection in my right breast, so I'm assuming my supply is all out of wack. And I have tried several positions but in all he gets fussy. I also try the burping to give him some calm down time. But he is still fussy when given back the boob.
Thanks, hope some of that can help you....poor lil prob mad about something! Is it just the breast that had infection or both? Maybe thrush? Could hurt babies mouth to feed....? I don't have personal experience so I'm sorry I don't know more about that, but from what I've read that's what I hear lol....Sorry, hope you figure it out soon! Oh yea I remembered just now, my girl was SUPER fussy at the breast during early weeks, it was a growth spurt and I think she was going through something developmentally, she was just cranky and distracted....it passed after a week or two, but man it was hard....good luck mama!
