I have an odd question... A few weeks back, I had VERY BAD back pain in the right side; it was between my hip bone and armpit. Honestly, it felt like a knife was being dragged up and down my back. Along with this pain was a stabbing pain between my right rib and right hip. The nurse said it's sciatic nerve pain but it's sooo much worse; lasted 2 hours. Anyone know what this is?

I've had this pain on the right side.of my rib cage beneath my breast, my girlfriend had the same issue but I said if it's not gone by the next day I will be calling my doctor. I went to bed & it was gone the next morning so I assumed it was nothing serious BUT if this keeps reoccurring talk to your doctor. If your doctor doesn't seem to concerned about it take their word for it because pregnancy is SO different with everyone & it can be really hard to describe how things are feeling. Don't get too caught up in it, the last thing you need is to be stressed causing your blood pressure to rise.

@haleygarcia16 constant most of the time, I had a few days break every once in a while. I had to end up going to the hospital over 20 times before they listened to me about the pain.

I had pain like that, and it ended up being my gallbladder had gallstones.
