We now have 2 little ones in the house (4 months apart in age)...one mine, the other my 19-year old brother and fiancé's. Since the second arrived, I have been criticized for EVERYTHING I do...I apparently cannot do anything right for my daughter? We are both first time parents, but because she has "raised her cousins" she thinks that she knows what is best? Is it all in my head that she is criticizing every little thing, or is she right that I am doing things "wrong"?

oh yep all babies are different, thats so stupid all babies grow and develop different, also dont think too much into it, sometimes i feel like ppl are like that towards me but its all in my head lol
@supermom1104, it's not just the feeding...she makes the whole idea of parenting a competition. Lol their daughter is 2 months, and she's making it seem like her and her daughter are better than mine because her daughter is "more advanced". Working at a daycare, I see lots of babies develop skills (and teeth) at their own pace.
yea don't let her criticize your parenting its one thing if youre not being a mom but as long as your baby eats who cares
But making someone feel inferior because they decided to bottle feed instead of breastfeeding doesn't seem like helping?
maybe she's just trying to help because she knows your a ftm
It's just extremely frustrating and hard to not think into it too much being that I have to listen to everything she has to comment about since we all currently live with my parents.
