my daughter's doctor said if baby has a cough always take to a doctor, she said a cough usually means an ear infection. I don't know how true that is, but better safe than sorry

my sons pediatrician said saline drops and then suction the snot out after a few minutes with the drops in. also a cool mist humidifier or vaporizer will help. we also got a baby chest rub.

they said theyre too young to supress a cough.so not cough medicine. just watch for a fever over 103 and wheezing in the chest.
