Hey I need some advice. I will not say names for obvious porpoises but I know someone who threw out her pregnancy took a hallousogenic tea. this yea has DMT like weed. It's a difficult situation because she really believes she sees god with the tea and it's for a religious reason she takes it. the baby seems ok just more tired and low energy then some babies. Should I call CPS?

If the baby is being harmed by the tea, yes. It would have been better to report while it was happening tho.

How come the doctors didn't detect it at her appts or was she not seeing and ob/gyn on the regular

do it anonymously... if it shows positive for drugs then yu can simply say yu heard about a mother who does drugs & she's still breastfeeding or somethin so yur worried about the baby being hooked on drugs

If the baby is healthy I don't see where your case lies. And if it just your word vs hers I wouldn't take on the stress if I were you. Live and let live. If you disagree with her lifestyle don't hang out with her anymore. Cut ties.

@rylan because she didn't go to an ob/gyn she had a natural path that had the same ideas as her

Also this tea is like weed as I said earlier but way stronger. I took it as a kid (by her influence) and I felt super drugged.

I agree. do it anonymously and let cps deal with it. if anything is wrong they'll take the child

@claudia.aguilar.123, doctors say weed will do nothing to a child/fetus. In some states it's legal and with it being religion you have no leg to stand on.I dont agree with that unless your terminal or have religious preferences but if her baby is fine there is no reaso for you to get involved. Just know God sees all and she will get her Karma, but if you tell and your wrong so will you

DO NOT CALL CPS unless you are 100% sure this is harming the baby. Taking someone's child away from the wrongfully is the most low down thing anyone can do. If she does it for religion purposes I would influence her to look in to it to make sure it is safe for her kid. & then only if it it came about it was harmful and she refuse to stop... Then and only then would I call CPS. Cps don't always treat the children the best so you want to be sure before you make that decision.

@eliyasmommy, you are right in the fact foster care sucks. I have tried contacting her many times and she won't stop. This tea I know is very strong but there is not enough people to really survey how this affects a baby. I just don't know weather to call or not specially since she gave me this drink as a little kid and it was awful so of she does this to me of coerce she would do the same to her baby.

@claudia.aguilar.123, actually that's not completely true. There is lots of stuff I did with friends and people growing up that I would NEVER do with my child.
