update: wanted to go natural but i couldnt the pain was tooo much could only take it for 8hrs.. so i got the epidural at around 2:30 am. Now i got a 3 hr sleep and they will be inserting pitocin because i am not dilating fast enough. Anyone ever had this done and how bad were the contractions? The nurse said i wouldnt feel them because of the epidural. I would only feel alot of pain until its almost ready to push.
14hrs in labor so far😩

never heard of inserting pitocin. usually it is through IV. and I had an epidural with my son and felt none of the contractions but felt EVERYTHING during the birth part. it sucked. then with my daughter I felt nothing the whole time.

It's probably cervidil they are inserting. You should be ok. I barely felt anything while I pushed except for pressure and right ably the end. It's very hard to deal with contractions when your not dilating. That has happened to me and honestly the epi usually helps it along ... How dilated are you ?
