It's amazing how you can function day after day with minimal sleep

@jjbutton, I'm nervous and excited everybody says it'll come naturally and it'll be a little easier considering its my baby

I think week 2 was the hardest. I had only 5 hours sleep over 6 days. ( I went into labor right as i was going to sleep. Then my in laws practically moved in to our hospital room 😞). Week 2 there was some adjustment as I got more sleep. After that I have been getting 4 hours of sleep a night in 1-2 hour increments. However, I function fairly well. My son is 2 months now. You hear your baby and get up.

@jjbutton, yea I'm not a hard sleeper anyway so I know the smallest little peep and I'll be up for sure

idk maybe it will be for you I just know it's the hardest thing I've ever dealt with and I was a fulltime nanny of three kids for 3 yrs and I've taken care of a lot of babies
