First see a dr. they are the best person to give you advice and they can help give you stuff to get started and get you both checked. And also have fun with it, don't make it a chore.

My doctor suggested start counting on the first day of your period. have sex on the 10th 12th 14th 16th 18th and 20th day. lay with your hips elevated for 5 to 10 minutes and then empty your bladder. worked for me.

I would recommend seeing a doctor and see why you have irregular periods. I have PCOS and I started taking a pre diabetic medication that was helping regulate my cycles. Then after six months I stopped taking it and I started to regulate naturally and by the third month I got pregnant. I never thought I would get pregnant so I didn't find out until I was 11 weeks because I thought my cycles were off again. Good luck on trying and I hope you find something that works for you.
