Soo I am 37 weeks, I haven't seen my doctor since 33 weeks, and for some reason the nurse will not schedule me an appointment until January 13th, 3 days before my due date.
even though my ob wants to keep a close eye on my incase of developing the same complications as my first kid, she refuses to squeeze me in any sooner. like is that even legal??

you can always just walk in one day and see if she can see you

@abeals04, that's a 45 minute drive, if the interstate isn't backed up. and usually it is :/

you can always make a problem up or see if someone else in their office can see you my next appointment my dr is on vacation so I have to see another person bc you should be having a test for bacteria and it takes a little bit to get back and if you don't get results before labor they will automatically give you an iv of antibiotics

@abeals04, lol my ass, they ain't giving me a dang thing without my permission. I don't even do the urine tests anymore because I found out I was being lied to and drug tested without my permission. I don't do drugs in any way, so I have nothing to hide but you're not going to lie to me and do something without my knowledge or permission.
but the thing is they know I have kidney failure and other issues stemmed from pregnancy, and they also know I was asking for the earliest appointment due to getting hurt during moving into my new house. so it's bothering me that I have a history of problems and got hurt and yet all I'm told is "we have you scheduled for January 13th that's as soon as we can get you in" and it's not even with my normal doctor.

you can always go into labor and delivery and tell them you fell and they will do a non stress test but unfortunately a lot of drs are on vacation for the holidays so they are completely backed up and you can always say your having kidney pain and they will check it all out just to ease your mind

@abeals04, I figured if there's anything I get seriously concerned or worried about I'll go to the ER. I live 3 blocks away from the closest hospital should something happen.
but it just seemed weird that the last almost 2 months of my pregnancy they don't wanna see me at all.
