So today my mother informs me that when my son is born she wants to stay at my house the first couple of nights to help out but this is my first child and that first night home with him is something special and I don't really want her here for that. how do I tell her this?
@babiio1 @mommypriscilla2015 @nharri22 @mom13 @bri28 thank you everyone
say thanks so much but i want to tough it out... but dont complain bc then she will have a i told you so hanging over your head. good luck
just tell her that you wanna do it on your own and if you change your mind you'll call her.
I agree with @bri28 you would really want her there you would want all the help you can get I have my mom and my family's help it's the best thing in my experience it really dose take a Village to raise a child. You can tell her to be out your house but don't be to pushy on stuff let you do your thing and be there when you really need the help
@bri28 my mother gets on my nerves I don't think she would be much help. she wasn't the best parent growing up and then she sits there and tries to give me parenting advice.
From my personal experience, you will want her there! My mom was here when my first was born and it helped so much. I didn't have to worry about cleaning or cooking, she did all that. But it's totally up to you and I would be straight forward with her
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
you may want her there! make her a to do list and keep her busy it may go easier!
