I think the s1 is more portable because it has a rechargeable battery pack? Not entirely sure I can look into it.

Yes. Hated Medela :/ open system and it pulled and was super uncomfortable. It's a popular brand by I feel like if people knew about spectra they would never use Medela lol 😂 Spectra is sometimes on groupon!

Not that I know of, paid full price for mine, but have you checked with your ins? A lot of them cover breast pumps now

It's a hospital grade closed system pump and instead of pulling at your nipples it suckles like baby would! I've tried soooo many and I definitely think it's the best. A lot of exclusively pumping moms swear by it too.
