Ladies, So my son favors the right side when he sleeps, so the right side is a little flatter than his left side. When i went to the doctors they just told me to position his head more to the left side to try and even it out. Well the last couple days Ive been noticing that when i sit him up he always tilts his head to the left side. I always try to center it but he always go back to tilting it. Should i be worried ?? Its so weird. You would think he would tilt it to the right since its the side he favors but its not, its the opposite. Im just scared that if he keeps on with that, he will grow up with his head tilted to one side.

Talk to your dr about it next time you see them. I've never heard that happening even with my daughter who favored her right side

He could have a weak tendon/muscles in one side of his neck. It happens all the time. I'm a primary infant teacher at a child development center & ive worked with multiple babies that have to wear helmets to even the strength in their neck. It's super common & not a big deal, not saying that's what it is, just telling you from experience. I would deff bring it up to your doctor though!

@emilyg, thank you so much!!! That definitely helps. i have a referral to see a doctor for the helmet. im just waiting for there call to see if my insurance covers it. This is just for the app tho.

@emilyg, the app is going to tell me. my doctor said he just wanted him seen to see what they tell me. But im still waiting for the call its been a week now.
