what can I give my son to help him poop?? he's so constipated he'll push and push he'll turn red and it sounds like he's in pain. I already tried laying him on his back nd moving his legs forward it only helps once in a while
prune juice is perfectly ok tp give to your lil one. Liam is 2 months old and has the same issue and my pediatrician told me to give him the prune juice
she said 1 oz mixed in with his bottle. I do 1 oz prune juice w 3 oz water and 2 scoops of formula powder every other day. it works wonders for his lil tummy
it was one oz of water it a little bit of prune sauce. and I didn't even let him eat the whole oz

my mom bout him baby prune sauce mix some with water and told me to give it to him
qtip with vasiline. if you see it is really hard like a blockage you may have to hold his butt cheeks open to help him poop. my son suffers with constipation and this is what i had to do a couple of times until his doctor prescribed him stool softner at 6 month
i wouldn't give such a young baby juice. ask your doctor first. its also possible his holding it because it hurts so bad. my son does hold it & his gi has conformed that pooping for him is a painful event so he tries to stop it.
@_akgirl, @queendavis thank you ladies for the advice! (:
A teeny tiny bit of prune juice would help. Just like a teaspoon. Or like @_akgirl said do the thermometer tip in his behind. Warm bath. Bicycle legs. I don't suggest giving him water! But the prune juice or even apple juice should help. Just a teeny tiny bit. I use the Tylenol syringes to give it to my kids when they're constipated.
you could try a thermometer or qtip with a little Vaseline on the tip and stick it in his bottom and gently wiggle it. warm bath. baby massage to help it move down.
he is sometimes he'll fuss because he can't poop and he's formula feed @_akgirl
is he ran out constipated? sometimes they just absorb so much nutrients that they just don't have anything to poop.
I'm scared to give him water at this age water intoxication scares me @greenleigheli191
a ounce of water! my mom told me she used to do it with us and that I should try. it worked wonders!
How do can i help my baby with gas,he crys from it for hours, gas drops don't seem to help and pushing his legs up makes him cry more HELP
Sometimes I have no patience for my dog. He's a puppy and he constantly wants me to hold him or pick him up and he constantly cries. My patience while pregnant is literally at 0 and I feel bad because he's just a baby but I can't help it his crying irritates me 😭
I think my little guy is having a hard time pooping. He starts screaming so loud when he's trying to push (his pop face, & grunt) I tried the myclion gas relief last night. But not sure to give it to him again. Really hate to give him anything.. any tips from. The expiernced mom's what to do?!
I also try holding his legs upward/ bicycle them while he's pushing but I don't think it really helping cuz he still seems unease. .. & He only starts to cry like that when he's trying to push.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Wish I could take a full body pic but his Doctor want me to keep him swallowed because his temperature has been really low which has kept me an my baby away from each other all day 😢😟 I haven't got a chance to be with him at all do to it she's been keeping him to keep a close eye on him. I haven't counted his lil toes or none yet 😟 but he's finally here now an I missed him so much omg but I wasn't about to rush them to bring him knowing his health comes first because if it wasn't some to be conc...
You should not give your baby any juice until she or he is six months or older. Until then, they will receive all the necessary nutrients from their formula or breast milk. If your baby is younger than six months, his or her stomach isn’t ready to digest a substance like a prune juice
