Is it wrong that I don't want my daughter to call her grandma Mama?... My husband said our daughter is gonna call his mom Mama Elida whether I like it or not.... I know other people may do that but if I don't like it I think he should respect it... Plus the only reason she wants to be called that is cause she doesn't accept that she is a grandma. She think she is too young or whatever. She is in her 40s and has 5 kids. I've been married for almost 4 years....
right mines 9 months. I've been trying but I doubt it's gonna work. I just keep calling her grandma and my self mama 😂😂
your child. yes it is your husbands child. but that is when he needs to learn to compromise as well. marriage is hard without compromise.
@alicia3_21, yea I think that does confuse children. My daughter is just about to be 2 months old and it's already annoying me and I want this resolved before she starts talking
that child came out of you lol I wouldn't have it good luck
@mrsmoore, I really thought my husband would be mature enough to respect that I don't want my daughter to call him Mama but to him I'm the one that is not making sense and being immature. But I am going to have to talk to her and if my husband gets mad then so be it. Hopefully we can sit down like adults and hope she respects my decision.
Same!!!!! his parents call themselves mama and papa. it's like you were my husband s but not my sons. I told my husband he got mad at me. so I told his Mom and they still do It. it's freaking annoying and weird. I'm sure it will be confusing for eddison when he learns to talk.
sit them down tell them you are the mother it is not ok for your child to call anybody else mama she only has one I know you think your to young to be a grandma or can't accept it but my child won't be calling you mama your days of being called that ate over except from your kids ,you can come up with a nickname like glam ma but not mama I'm not ok with that and I wish to be respected
@greenleigheli191, yea we have been talking about this for a while now and he keeps saying that she will call her Mama Elida whether I like it or not and then I just get tired for going in circles about this. I told him I'm her mother and I will be the only one to be called Mama.
@mimiz, maybe that's what I will have to do. If my husband doesn't tell her himself that she will not be called mama I will have to.
uh that's really weird. I don't blame you for not wanting her to be called that. I'd tell him to grow up you're the only one getting called mama
Exactly I'm the one who gave birth to her, I'm her mommy 😔 @fubbily hopefully he gets over himself and respects my decision
Sound like my mom she thought I was cute if the baby calls her mami I'm like no nana or nothing
it's your kid too. he needs to respect your choice. and that is really rude of her. She has no right to be called mama. Its not like she gave birth to your child...
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
FTM problems...
So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It...
My mom wasn't ready to accept she was going to be grandma but I sat down with her and we agreed on mimi or meem.
