Do contractions feel like period cramps?

Ok so what I'm feeling aren't contractions then. Maybe Braxton hicks. The pain is in the same area as a period cramp but doesn't last long at all.

yes and no. Kinda like period cramps, or like you have to go to the bathroom and your stomach hurts times 30. Along with your entire belly tightening and feels like it's being squeezed and you can't breathe or walk, or talk. For me that's how they felt.
