How long do you think is too long to be someone's girlfriend before you require a ring?? #girlTALK

As long as it feels right. My fiancé and I got engaged at our year and a half. It just matters on the people, ya know?

I think it happens naturally. They will do it when it feels right so there isn't a time limit personally. :) If they know you well, it will be exactly when it needs to happen.

I think it has a lot to do with age. Me and husband met when I was 25 and we got married when I was 30. My sister has been with her bf since she was 18, seven years later they're still not married. A friend of mine got married in a year but they're both in their late 30s. Only u know what's best for u two

Me and my husband dated for 4 and a half years before we got engaged. I was in 8th grade and he was in 9th when we started dating and he proposed a month before I graduated, and we got married 6 months later. I was 18, and he was 20. He proposed the day he came home from basic training. 😊 we've been happily married since. Going on 2 years soon with our first baby due in April.

depends. I was dating my husband for 2 years and demanded a ring but I moved out of state for him and set my career back. Then he got a job out of town once I found a job and expected me to pack up again but I wasn't going to go without a commitment.
