I'm Heidi, I am currently 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant and have 2 beautiful little ones

My daughter, Aubrey, will be 4 February 23 and is in preschool

My son, Caleb, will be 10 months tomorrow, will be 1 on February 27

Their dad is an asshole who has barely been in their lives for the last year or so

My boyfriend is amazing and has taken them on as his own kids, most people see how amazing he is with them and believe he is their father

We are excited to welcome a new baby into the family, even though my son will be less than 18 months old when the baby is born

I feel so so blessed to have such an amazing man now (we grew up together, lost contact when he went into the army, and finally found each other again)

This is our little one at 7 weeks 4 days

Due date is July 21st

son getting out of car seat So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. What do you guys do when they start doing this? My Britax came with these long rubber strap covers but I took them off a while ago when he was to small for them. Are they to stop him from pushing the chest clip down? I just want to know if these will help before I take it apart to put them back on.

Idk if this is a little to harsh but my stepson is 2 and 7 months now the time outs are not working so I stepped it up a little and decided to take all toys away and tv away for whatever he has left of the day till bed time. Gets it taken for hitting us or throwing toys or kicking... He kicked me right in the mouth last night so he didn't get his toys till after nap and no cartoons and thats around 4pm is this to much??

Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
