So when I went to bed last night, my feet and ankles were swollen, which I know is normal, especially since I had been on them more than usual. But, I woke up this morning and literally my whole entire body has swelled up 😳 Face, lips, legs, arms, hands, everywhere!😪 How does that happen?

preeclampsia or kidney function being messed up. I'd call your dr and see what they say.

Preeclampsia... I think! My doc says if I swell up suddenly, that's what it is. It can be quite dangerous so I would get it check out ASAP..

@mommabear3cubs, @mizg1989 Yikes!. I didn't know if all over swelling was a sign of that but I will definitely call and let me doctor know. Thank you ladies!

@february2016, No, I don't. And my blood pressure has actually been much better during my pregnancy than it was prior to, lol. Yesterday was one of the first times I had a noticable amount of swelling in my feet or ankles, but I just accounted it to being on them all day and doing more than usual. I wasn't sure if that could also make the rest of me swell, lol.

@kmlac7, you could have eaten to much salty foods too. I know my feet were extremely swollen after eating gumbo yesterday.

I think that may be what caused it. I ate lots of salty stuff yesterday!

Well that's a good sign that it's going down. I think with preeclampsia the swelling stays. @kmlac7
