I have a question my son is a year and I don't know if he's suppose to already be able to eat with a spoon, he uses his finger to eat and stuff but when I give him a spoon he plays with it, is that normal or should I be concern?

I work at a daycare and we usually give kids spoons @ 1 year, but they usually never use them they use their hands/fingers. Nothing to be concerned about :)

Hahah yeah I worked in a daycare too, and our 3 year olds still we weren't very good with the spoons lol but definitely keep letting him use it. it'll help teach him what its for lol

Same here with the daycare. I have the 15 month-2 year Olds and we give them spoons. They dont use them all the time but it's good to introduce it and they know how to use it
