So it is my first child but my husband and I have been raising my sisters little boy from when he was born and he will be three in March. Since we are going to continue to raise him as our own is there any helpful ways to make the whole new baby experience a tad bit easier for him? Right now he is very jealous of my husband and I when any kid comes around.

include him in things you do for the baby. like let him pick out clothes and whatnot. explain to him that you will love him just as much as the baby

I really hope he gets more excited after seeing the ultrasound next week. He was fine for a couple weeks but his real mom put him aside after two weeks so you really can't do anything without him getting afraid of being left out again
