Does getting your cervix checked help you dilate more??

not really, I got checked at 38 weeks 3 times once by my doctor & twice at labor & delivery I never progressed till I was in actual labor. membrane sweeps sometimes don't work either but its worth a try

@aek91, Ohhh man ok thank you. No membrane sweep it just a regular check up. I just been feeling more contractions or BH I should say than usual since my appt this morning. Guess it was just in my head lol

I don't know but it hurts sooo bad after they check ughhhhh :/

I usually have some cramping and even spotting after they check my cervix, but next to all is back to normal and still no baby ;)
