So I felt like I had to make a BM but I really couldn't go, barely anything. I peed like normal and when I wiped there was like a thick bloody substance (kinda looked like discharge) on the toilet paper, I freaked out... so I wiped again a couple times, making sure to just get my vag to see if it was blood from there and it wasnt, so is shitting "blood" normal? I don't think it is, it wasn't bloody stool, it was more of a slimy bloody consistency... I woke my mom up and showed her and she said not to worry about it, I'm freaked out though!! has this ever happened to any of you mama's??? sorry for the TMI but I'm a ftm and I'm worried... should I be?

This happened to me a lot during my last pregnancy, the toilet was full of blood, it was from my rectum, I had terrible hemorrhoids with TJ. I am now pregnant with my little girl and Colace stool softener once a day has made a huge difference in my bowels. It doesn't take much for them to flair up once you start to get big because of the weight of the baby and the fact that your digestive system slows way down. They gave me a hemorrhoid cream to squeeze in my butt because they were on the inside, and told me to buy colace.
@ryennsmomma, ok I don't see or feel them on the outside... so I'll just call my doctor in the morning and see what they have to say. thank you!
if you have a hemorrhoid it can bleed when you try and make a bowel movement I've had it happen to me before.
@arijane316, I shouldn't have googled. 😞😒 it's saying it could be other things, if it was bloody stool.
@arijane316, okay, so it can even be a really dark red? ive looked it up and lithe pictures and articles say that it could have a little blood in but this was all blood with a little discharge color in it... & how early can you lose your plug? I had a similar experience back at the end of October... so I would have been around 6 months. would that have been too early?
I'm a ftm too but I pay attention to what other mommies say and I had a prenatal class about the birthing process yesterday so it definitely sounds like your plug. it's nothing to freak out about. just means your body is preparing itself for baby to come
@havingtwinboys, @arijane316 okay im gonna call them in the morning, I really thought it wasn't from my vag but I guess if it's my plug it wouldn't be bloody when I wipe again??? & yeah I've heard you can lose your plug little by little, I just thought it was early for that still, like I said I'm a ftm and have no clue what too expect, and babygirl has been SOOOO ACTIVE the last couple hours!
your mucus plug can come out weeks before labor starts. but you can call your doctor in the morning and see what they say
its does not always mean you will go into labor asap. let your doctor know. and relax don't stress

it was probably actually your mucus plug. it can be a little bloody. it varies from woman to woman

So , I'm at the doctors using the bathroom to take my pee test and when I wiped there was a little blood in my discharge , is that normal at 38 weeks ? 😐
Tmi!! So I'm laying in bed and next thing I know, I'm completely soaked with white clear liquidy looking stuff with some blood! Is that normal for only being 13 weeks. I've been cramping off and on all day and I'm freaking out.

Okay so today I started spotting very light pink blood when I would go pee and wipe (sorry tmi) its worrying me because I told my mom and she said it isnt normal to almost be 19 weeks and to be spotting. ...... 😕 and now I'm petrified 😥
