Even a little breastmilk is still better than none! So do what you want to do. If your baby's doctor isn't supportive of your decisions I would try to find a new one! @supermom1104

There's always milk it just may take her awhile to get it out. But if you want to produce more you can look into the teas and stuff.

I don't produce a lot of milk to store, if I pump I seriously feel so empty to the point were I don't think my little one is eating so I end up giving it to her @preggerstone

You can just put the bags of frozen milk in the fridge the night before and it lasts for 24 hours so they don't have to do it.

I'd just breastfeed when I'm with her I'd only let whomevers watching her to formula feed or if I pump extra milk I'll leave it for them but its easier for babysitting too if they don't have to unfreeze breast milk and go through all this crap just to feed her @fancy.shattuck @sammygirl27

It's a pain but highly encourage you to use breast milk. :)

trust me, I feel you! my mother is really into breastfeeding and can't believe I've given my son formula. but sometimes its hard and you have to. doesnt make you less of a mom

I just introduced formula to my son today for this exact reason I also heard to mix it so they're still getting it as often just not as much as usual & not straight formula

@sammygirl27, a few ppl have made me feel bad about using formula, they try too hard to push women to breastfeed, which I wanted to breastfeed anyway, but I'd like to work as well to help support my family, I just don't want no shit from her pediatrician when I talk to her about it

It's normal to only produce what baby eats. Power pumping can help up your supply. But it's totally up to you, you can choose to formula feed her if that's what will work best for you. Or you can continue to pump and store milk and supplement with formula as you need.
