I was getting so overtired and became more unwell. I decided to do 24 hours a week rather than 50! And switch my shifts from nights to days! My husband and I can still get by and I have to think about my health it's not just 12 hour shifts it's how many of them you do. I'm sick and tired of listening to my mum in law who says that she was a strong women and did 8 hours a day, it certainly wasn't 50 a week and just because I feel tired and sick and she didn't, doesn't make me any less of a strong person. Pregnancy affects people in different ways. At the end of the day my health is more important and if we can still afford a mortgage and to pay the bills and still have a life that's more worth it than me getting so rundown, feeling like I've been hit by a bus everyday, vomiting so much, feeling so unwell and frail. It's not worth it
