it will take a while to feel better for me as early as a week. but if after a month there is not enough improvement u may need a high dose. hugz.

@s_ochoa1215, its such a roller coaster, i literally just made hot chocolate and am eating raw cookie dough like i havent been busting my ass lately smh. emotionally eating smh. congratulations on your baby tho, it truly is the most beautiful experience. it just gets hard sometimes. our babies are close in birthdays 😄 how cool. im just glad for this site because my boyfriend has no idea why i yell at him for not helping when he is helping all the time. smh. im so thankful for you sharing bcause it feels good to know its normal and im not losing my mind, or convincing myself my life is over smh. i love my baby so much i just had no clue what to expect , especially within myself.

if he still has u on as ur doc yes he is good..but for some moms after their six weeks the physician doesnt treat.

you're welcome! I struggled with the same exact things with my first, especially weight. Heck, I still struggle with weight because I still haven't lost it from my first but now that I had my second 7 weeks ago I am trying. I'm doing so much better this time but I have found staying positive about the weight helps, though it's hard to do. Try to think of it as a work in progress and challenge yourself rather than beat yourself up. I really hope you get what you need so you and your baby girl can be happier!@royalprincessmommy

@s_ochoa1215, thank you so much love. like ive been so down on myself and im not even the type. like ive been beating myself up about my weight smh. like ive been working out everyday for about a week now and i thought that would help clear my mind and and give me a break but its just getting worse, im getting depressed about my career, and everything .evey time my baby cries i instantly get aggrivated and started debating letting her cry, then of course that doesnt make me feel any better. its so over whelming but i appreciate you so much, im gonna try to get some meds because i dont want to stop breastfeeding or continue to feel so terrible. thank you love

@royalprincessmommy, I know it's hard but try your very best to take care of yourself, that makes a big difference. Take time to shower, put on makeup, go walking, have a little time out with friends. It all REALLY helps. When I was going through it I went to my primary doctor who have me meds and I went to my ob. Turns out my doctor gave me meds that weren't good for breast feeding and my ob was a lot more helpful because he knew more about breastfeeding and post partem. I really think the ob is your best bet.

@s_ochoa1215, ive been hanging in there , just this past week ive been crying multiple times a day, i feel like i havent been able to relax or take care of myself and it makes me feel on edge all the time, like im over my limit now. I thought maybe the hormones from breastfeeding but its become a bit much ! @yummycake i dont have a regular doctor or psychiatrist, do you not think the doctor i seen for my 6week apt is possible?!

You talk to your primary doctor. Tell your doctor straight up that you'd like medication. Most doctors will give you a list of couslers and my doctor recommended a Youngs mom group.

It's best to go to the in you were seeing while pregnant, especially if you're breastfeeding because they will know more about what's okay to take with baby.
