I made my very first appointment for January 6th. They said they won't see me until I'm 10 weeks yet I see others posting ultrasounds at 6-7 weeks which is where I am at now. I was really hoping to get in much sooner but. This is frustrating to me that others are getting ultrasounds and I have to wait :(
Also, do they do ultrasounds on the very first appointment?

the only reason I got earlier ultrasounds was because I went to a free clinic. My regular doctors office made appointments when I was close to the 2cd trimester.
the only reason I had mine before 8 weeks was because they thought I was having an ectopic pregnancy. but they tend to make you wait so they can see more easily. I have a friend who doctor wouldn't do hers until 20 weeks
I didn't have one at my doctors until 8 weeks. But I'm there maybe places you can go to get an ultrasound.
if you want an ultrasound now go to the er@incunatrix but you won't like what you see at 5 weeks I promise it's scary
@incunatrix, I had an ultrasound at 5w at the er and 6 w at my doctor it just makes things scarier watching the baby grow becauae they frow at different rates if to u wait till 10 weeks you'll see a baby.:)
it all depends on the doctor my doctor wouldn't see me till I was 8 weeks last year with my son & yes they do an ultrasound to determine your due date
My doctor seen me a around 6 and a half weeks but that was only because I've had 2 previous miscarriages and the next week I had My first ultrasound.
My doctor wouldn't see me til I was 12 weeks in case of miscarriage during those weeks. But i made it to 13 and had an ultrasound that day.
Yea they usually do an ultrasound your first appointment to determine your due date.
Did anyone get a transvaginal ultrasound or just a regular ultrasound at their first appointment because I have my very first appointment Thursday and I heard that I’ll most likely be getting a transvaginal ultrasound and I’m nervous 😥 do they hurt?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Well, I had my first appointment the other day.. Didn't even get an ultrasound.. (Mad about it) but I had to get blood drawn.. And I cried... It was just a bad experience.
I had a free one at 4 week (even though the baby looked like an anteater) it was pretty cool. do you all have a "ThriVe," where you live? they'd do it.
