how will I know if I'll be able to breastfeed or not? im 28 weeks and there is very little leakage from my breast. im worried I won't be able to breastfeed
You don't need to leak to breastfeed. You'll make colostrum once baby is born (your body starts making it before you may or may not leak) and your milk comes in 3-5 days After birth. Your supply regulates 6-8 weeks after birth. Your baby will nurse often due to their stomachs being very small they can only take in 1-2 oz at a time for a few weeks.
Never leaked while pregnant but was able to breastfeed. Going on 6 months
I never leaked with my first pregnancy and I wasn't able to breast feed.
Leaking or Not while pregnant is not a sign of how breastfeeding will go. I didn't leak a single drop, and I had a massive milk supply. There are multiple things that can affect breastfeeding and milk, is mom eating enough, stressed, does baby have a latching issue, is baby being supplemented with formula or bottles that take away from moms supply
