We did that at first, then we moved to swatting and when I say swatting, half the time she laughs at me because she thinks I'm playing with her. I try to do it harder when she does things like play with cords so she understands they are bad. She knows what no means, but she just doesn't care at times. Which is sooooooo frustrating. 😂

No, we started around 6 months telling our daughter "no" to grabbing things and playing with certain things. Closer to 9 months we started swatting her hands, and now we have been popping her diaper. Neither hurt her, but they get her attention because just saying no doesn't do it anymore. I don't think it's too early for that kind of discipline, or too harsh. Better to learn when they are little rather than later on.

Never too early to teach them the word "no". Much easier to learn it when they're younger as opposed to when they're older & they don't know what the word means :) I admire your discipline this early!! I plan on doing the same & wish more people weren't so afraid to say it to their kids!

I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!

Starting TWW. Anyone else?

Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

Baby won't bear weight on leg

Baby won't bear weight on leg I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as baby's often do). I tried a few more times over the next 30 minutes and she still won't put any weight on it. I had a meeting (I work from home), so I took her upstairs to my husband. She is now playing with her siblings and happy, but he text me (from upstairs) and says she still won't put weight on it. She is just sitting there playing.
