my son is a week old and his peebug is looking pretty good. how will I know for sure when he's completely healed? I'm scared to quit the Vaseline too early and cause him pain.

My sons pediatrician told me to stop with the Vaseline after a week, you won't cause him any pain. You just have to let it heal now. Also another thing is, if you start noticing the the tip is purple don't freak, it's totally normal, it's actually bruising
