I have a 6w old today..
Gonna be honest, sometimes I don't like her, sometimes I wanna run away and never come bk,
BUT, I'm still here, trying. Days may consist of lots of crying and beating myself up bc I feel like a failure and feeling wrong for not always liking her.
BUT, I LOVE HER. And I'm doing my very best. One day this will all make sense and everything will work itself out.
One Day At A Time.

You are definitely close to the time when you can get her on a schedule

Well sometimes that's not in the cards. Some ppl don't have a way to take breaks. It's me and only me here with her m-f. the only breaks I get are when she sleeps and usually I sleep with her bc that's the only sleep I get. I get a break on the weekend. so I just hold out til then. @muva.mermaid and @preggerstone you're blessed then to have a happy and chill baby, bc I dont. she's only 6w today so I'm hoping they're just kinks between us and we get on a schedule and things get way better in the next few weeks/months.

I definitely get that. It is hard being home 24/7 I get frustrated too it is draining. My son is 3 months and I have my son all the time you really will need to be able to grab small breaks away so you can get a breather ya know

Yeah it gets better and it's probably lack of sleep to. I've haven't had this feeling but it can be hard or irritating when he's fussier than normal. But he's pretty happy and chill. The first month or so was harder though.

I know. I just don't like her sometimes. I've been around so many babies my whole life and NEVER dealt with this. I know I'm not alone in feeling like this and I'm not scared to say it lol no I'm not depressed. I know things will get better. just right now not enjoying every single day of being a mom. especially when I'm doing it alone m-f. my SO is only home on the weekends. it gets very frustrating. And it's me doing lots of crying bc it's the only way I can vent at her/with her around and not feel like total 💩 for losing it. She cries, yes, I do believe it's tummy issues. but it's not an every day thing. so the pedi won't do anything, says it's normal. so I'm just learning how to deal with this "normal"... and I don't like it all the time. nothing wrong with that.

I don't know about not liking a 6wk old but I understand what you're saying. I went thru the whole wanting to run away. in the beginning there were times when I had to walk way for five minutes and come back. you will need a break sometimes to keep from being so frustrated and overwhelmed with everything.

Not gonna lie, when my son was born I felt like a worthless mother. I didn't know anything so I felt like I wasn't gonna be a good mom and I always wondered why God allowed me to become a mother but only he knows and he has his reasons for all of this. I still question myself all the time. Sometimes I miss how my life used to be. Things will fall into place.
