How long have most of you waited before trying to have a 2nd child? I have a 9 month old & my fiancé & I wanted to start trying again. Would it be hard having 2 little ones close in age?

My son turned two on Saturday, and our second is due Feb. 29th. It will be hard with him because our 2 year old is so hyper and doesn't listen well. I would have waited longer if I had known he was going to be such a hand-full! He didn't start acting up until right around when we found out we were expecting at 18 months, so it was a blindsight for me.
my brother and i are 11 months apart, and we loved it! Him and I are so close and it was so nice:) plus since my brother started walking and such, he always wanted to help our mom out with me and run to grab diapers or wipes for her!
my niece and nephew are 8 years apart I plan on having mine 4-5 years apart I think it'd be easier when u the first is a little older cause they will want to help and when the oldest is in school it gives you time with just baby and u and the chores so not much to juggle
my nieces are 7&8. They're best friends. my sister didnt plan to have them that close together but it hasnt been too bad. (I watched them all the time while she worked when they were younger)
My older brother is 18 months older than me. we were like best friends until he hit puberty. my little brother is 10 years younger than me and we don't have that much of a connection. it was more motherly than sisterly cuz I always got onto him for not doing homework and whatnot.
