i started around 7-8 months

There is a whole school of thought around giving them real food when they start reaching for it. I think it's called baby led weaning. I read some about it and really found it interesting.

Lol yeah my mom gives my kids her Spanish meals blended in a bottle at 5 months + , but I start with the veggies and fruits around 5 months and the oatmeal /rice cereal around 4 months

My daughter reaches for everything. She'll eat her socks but won't take a food. It's weird. I tried to give her the oatmeal but she just looks at me like "what the heck are you putting in my mouth"

Now that I've given it to her she acts like she's going to starve without it. So she eats it all during the day as well as night time. @mommytobabyjosiahandwifetojustin
