Annabelle is so good throughout the day with sleeping and not being fussy. but at night time she sleeps for a little bit and then gets fussy and wakes up. the only way she actually sleeps throughout the night is if she's sleeping with me on my chest. I don't think she's scared of the dark, because we have the TV on at night and any other time she's in the dark she's quiet. does anyone know what could be wrong with her?
I would get about 1.5 hours of sleep at a time when he was first born. It was very interrupted. She will slowly start sleeping longer and better
And even if you hold her a lot it won't change much. I hold my son a lot and he still sleeps in his crib at night. But keep trying to put her in her bassinet. It's hard but it will get better
@swtlilangl, she sleeps in her bassinet during the day and at night ! and @edomke okay good to know! I can tell, especially with adjusting to her being here now. lol
Oh she's only a week old. That's completely normal. Babies do not usually sleep as much in your womb at night because that's when they are usually up because you aren't moving around as much and she still wants to be close with mommy. Give it a month or so and she will start sleeping better. Hang in there momma. The first six weeks honestly suck lol
Do you hold her a lot while she sleeps during the day or Is she sleeping in a different place during the day?
I know you have heard this but teething? Does she seem scared or fussy? My son goes through this a lot and nothing really helped. I think he was going through a growth spurt. Your daughter might be as well
omg... I'm so depressed my child cries more than she doesnt..The only time she's not crying is when she's alsleep.. but she only sleeps 30 minutes each time. she won't sit in her carseat, her crib, pack n play , her swing, bouncer nothing!!! I have to hold ger 24/7 even when she's sleeping or else she will wake up. I'm tired I don't get any sleep nothing soothes her I don't even remember the last time I had enough time to bathe :'( I love her so much but this is so challenging
Mommies I need advice....
So last night was night 15 of me sleep training my daughter from sleeping with me to now sleeping in her new crib. It has been EXHAUSTING! When she slept with me she would sleep straight throughout the night. Now she wakes up at the least, 5 times throughout the night. She has waken up at most 8/9 times at night. There have been times where I’m patting her for an 1 hour-2hours straight to get her back to sleep when she has waken up at one of those times🥵. So I have fel...
My little babydoll cries every time after she eats. She squirms around pretty much the whole time she sleeps too and wakes up multiple times fussy. I’m guessing it’s just gas but this mamma is exhausted. I’m the only one who wakes up with her at night and it’s hard. I hate when I feel myself getting frustrated because I love her and I know it’s not her fault, but lord knows I underestimated how exhausted I would be. I try to savor every moment she’s not fussy, which is not often. I miss sleep 😫

At what age can a baby start sleeping on there tummy throughout the night??....She seems comfy but I don't know if I would keep her like this.
PLEASE HELP ME DEAL....
With my fussy baby!!!! Shes 2 weeks old today, and the past 2 nights, she stays up from 8pm and wont go to bed until 3am. Between that time, she eats multiple times (once every 20 mins,) gets multiple diaper changes and we try over and over to swaddle her and lay her down. She might "sleep" for an hour tops before she fusses and throws a fit. Last night, she was up til 330am. Woke up at 6am. Went back to bed, woke up at 8am, went back to bed, woke up at 10am and shes bee...
Try not to sleep with her on your chest though lol I started doing that because I was so exhausted and then he started getting use to it that was the hard part but in the long run it will be worth the sleepless nights because she will get use to sleeping without momma
