my family is super supportive of doing either! i told them i want to breastfeed and they totally said thats awesome and they are down to help however they can. i think its awesome thtlat you want to! just see what works best for your baby when its time!

my mil is that way. she always makes comments about how much 'easier' formula is, and how I wouldn't have to watch what I eat, and how other people could feed her

Bottom line: it's your baby. I breastfed my other 3 and plan to breastfeed the new baby. I've bottle fed my nephew when I kept him and breastfeeding is WAY easier in my book. And I pumped some so my husband could feed and bond with the kids...

Whatever you feel comfortable with, it's up to you.

You are definitely not stupid breast milk is best for baby and it saves $$$ which is not stupid at all!! Seems pretty smart to me:) plus you bond better with baby and you've really got to stop and focus on baby when breast feeding and you're not running around making bottles and washing bottles all the time..

I was 38 weeks pregnant when I said something about breastfeeding my baby and my mom told me I could never do it because I never finished anything blah blah blah.. She's just bitchy. Here I am almost seven months and no signs of stopping. She just made me more determined to breastfeed.
