it happened againg :( my fiancé and I bought christmas gifts for a family we knew personal we went to Walmart to get diapers for our son only find them in a check out line returning everything. they told us to give them the the receipt in case the clothes didn't fit some of the gifts wasn't even opened like really we bought you're child gifts with the only money we had at the time I hope they just decided to spend on the child and not on themselves this is the second time I try being nice to someone. sadly my fiancé said this is the last time we are ever doing that

Thank you we try to help out as much as we can if someone is needing help but we had a bad year with financial stuff we could bearly afford our son's christmas gifts but they gave us a sad story so the money we was going to get our family something with went to their kids we bought them shoes and clothes amd each a toy and candy we was pretty hurt

it sucks but sometimes.. when a family doesnt have much on Christmas its because they have things they want more then what they think they family deserves. i wish people wouldnt do that.

it is when I seen them returning the gifts I left and just cried in the car I felt so bad like what if the kids Christmas I know it's not about gifts but we was almost asking for help for our son's christmas but god definitely helped us I just pray they have a good Christmas

You did the right thing, God saw your heart. That's what matters. Hopefully, they weren't able to get the cash for them, but even if they did you did a good thing so don't be sad.
