I think I have a point: boyfriend is going to Nashville for the night to a few bars with his boys up until tomorrow.. he pulls outta shirt that says "skilled in every position " and I told him I hope he isn't wearing that to the bar tonight. and he makes a face and says "ita a Nike shirt. you know I'm yours and that I only have eyes and heart for you " And I said "I'm a female. I know how some of the minds work. ain't no female gonna care that it's a Nike shirt. she's gonna read that and think 'oh. I'd like to know what positions he's skilled in' and try flirting with you. I trust you. but I don't trust drunk trashy bitches and the influence of your tool friends. it already sucks enough you're gonna be gone for a third night in a row while I stay at home "
would you not be upset if your boyfriend or husband presented himself like that while out of town in a bar while his pregnant girlfriend is at home? I feel like its a respect thing. if I went out I wouldn't be wearing nothing that shows my ass and breasts off out of respect for HIM.. call me petty. but I don't think it's right.

Respect goes both ways though. He made a good point. Even if he wasn't wearing it, some girls may flirt anyway. I guess I'm totally chill with this stuff but if you tell him not you he will feel like you're controlling. It's just a shirt and it's nothing like if you were to show cleavage. Just another point of view.

Agreed! But yeah, girls may flirt anyway, but the shirt kind of says "flirt with me, I'm single" in a way if he's out with his buddies and not his girl.

that's exactly how I feel. I know him well enough to know he isn't gonna do anything. but it's the people he is with that I DON'T trust. and the fact of the matter how the shirt sounds. I mean I don't walk around with shorts or sweat pants that say juicy on my ass but if I did and people saw it they'd wonder. I respect him too much to wear anything with all vulgar meaning of shows too much of something. that's just how I am. he's gonna do whatever he wants but as a woman. I have the right to voice my feelings on it. whether he takes it into account or not, is him. I just don't find the shirt appropriate to be wearing out in public with a drunken environment behind it.

I'm with you on this. I agree it's just a shirt, but I also agree that if you aren't comfortable with it he should change it out of respect for you. He should be happy he's even able to go out that much while you're home pregnant. If it's "just a shirt" to him then changing it to another shirt really shouldn't be an issue

@elenam08, exactly. he doesn't realize I give him a lot of freedom. I let him hang out with his friends. they all hate me and I put up with it. ive been very patient at the fact here lately he hasn't spent any time with me nor has been interested in what our son is going though milestone wise. I always change my clothes for him If he has a problem. and he even states "I don't like men and the way their mind works. I don't want them getting to look at what's mine" that's how I feel. I won't even get to be there I won't know what he's gonna be doing and the last thing I want is some drunk bitch even trying to get The thought of what's mine can be hers for a night. it's bad enough I don't get out the house to do anything. let alone I have no friends. but he can at least respect my wishes and not wear that shirt. I guess once I get my pre pregnancy body back I should go get some shirts with sexual innuendos on them and wear them out in public too and see how he feels about it.

Seems like he gets a lot more freedom then he dealt should so he should feel lucky that you let him go out a lot. Hanging out with his friends is fine but going to the clubs or bars or wherever that much and not coming home is ridiculous when you have a pregnant girlfriend at home. That's where most of his time should be spent in my opinion. Not saying he needs to be on lock down or whatever but his main priority should be you and the baby

@elenam08, that's how I feel. and I keep my mouth shut in hopes he'd realize this. but obviously not. which upsets me because so far I've experienced a lot of my first things with this pregnancy ALONE. first kick I was by myself, when the first started moving around I was alone, when my baby started pushing his body through my belly.. I was by myself. he misses out on everything bc I give him freedom without trying to be controlling. i'm about over it.
