OK moms that breast-feed I have six weeks Old baby and I want to know how long do you usually breast-feed when doing ur feedings?? I have always pumped so I know exactly how much she drinks now that I'm breastfeeding it's killing me not knowing if she's getting enough!!
Because I have to be on mental health medication after birth I am unable to breastfeed😔 what are some good formulas for babies? I know breast is best but I can’t be on the medication I need and breast feed.
Breast Feeding With Piercings... I have my nipples pierced. But I want to know if I can still breast feed with them in. I know I have to take them out while breast feeding. But if I can't, I'll try to do pumping for him. But if all fails, I'll be having to give him formula. I don't want to give him formula, but if I have to, I will.
calling all mommies who are breast feeding or excessively pumping .. how did you all do it ?? I know some people pump right in the hospital day 1 !! I know my hospitals here allows you to pump from day 1 and breast feed at the same time they just give you a breast consultant to explain and show you how so you don’t mess up and get a over supply to soon . Some people only breast feed for awhile than pump 1/2 later . Some only pump period ... what’s your method and how successful are you ?? And how tough was it in the beginning ??
Do I have any Mom's that strictly feed their baby from their breast and no pumping? How is it?

ya do it! I lnow the pills your supposed to take 3 times a day so you might just want to buy those and see how they work without the tea lol I stand by them :) ya when im with my little one I dont pump, I only pump when im at work! :) good luck!

Ya a baby can stimulate your breast way better than a pump can so breastfeed as much as you can (: I got them at WalMart they dont cost a whole lot either. I stopped taking the tea and I only take the pills every now and than but try both and see what works for you. I work full time and were 6+ months strong with breast feeding (:

@des_a_rayy, well see I never understood the difference in pumping and the baby sucking I guess there is a difference because she gets milk but when I pump I don't even get a oz so maybe I just need to go to straight breast feeding!! Where did u get those pills and tea at??

At 6 weeks I was feeding about that long but you know your body. Try to drink water and I take Fenugreek pills, mothers milk tea or eat a lacation cookie when I feel low. If you cant eat too much maybe protein shakes will help they have good nutrition :) whatever you do keep nursing because a little one is way better than pump lol

@des_a_rayy, that's the thing my body isn't I have slowed down on production I think it's cuz I haven't been eating or drinking right since my tooth ache and stitches in my mouth

Babies stop when they had enough, your body will producehow much baby will drink so dont worry too much. When my son was first born he fed between 20-30min now its about 10-15 min at the most.
