She got her first actual bath today and she hated it lol well mostly hated it. She was fine as long as I just poured water over her but time I start washing she starts screaming lol hopefully she will start to like it the more she has them!!!
Good I hope she likes it plus I thought it was a great bonding experience and a great trust builder for my daughter (:
@andiryan93, I've thought about that but she's only 8 days old I thought it was maybe too early right now? I've never tried giving any of my others showers before they were older.
@hermommy21515, im gonna try that my oldest daughter liked baths with mommy my son always liked being in the bath alone cuz he loved splashing the water and having room to splash everywhere lol so im gonna try it her next bath to see if she is better with it that way
My daughter wanted no part of a bath when she had her first one now she loves it she splashes away , yells at her toys and just laughs like crazy I just tried showing her every time that water was okay and fun and she seemed to have gotten that. I don't know how you feel about bathing with the baby but I did that and she seemed to like that more and helped a lot now I don't have to be in there with her and she's 10 months now. Good luck!! God Bless!!
@myangelfaith, im hoping I can figure out something bc she hated it today but then again it was her first so maybe it was just cuz it was new to her.
i have one of those. i take it and my daughter in the shower with me. shes seems to enjoy her bath more when she can see me face to face.

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
I hate my generation sometimes ?
Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. Th...

I love her her name is Tiffany lol

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
Emma was about 2months when I started putting her in the shower with me like that. it always soothed her over putting her in a bath. 8 days old could be a little early. unless she has completely lost her cord and its all healed if not I would avoid putting her in the shower with you like that. when I did it I put Emma against my chest and just let the shower head run down her back and she was always calm than after that we would dress her and she would fall right to sleep.
