when should I take out my belly ring??

I am 37 weeks and still have my metal belly ring in ! Doc told me it's fine and I can take it out if I want !!

I just took my pregnancy belly ring out at 37wks because it was starting to get uncomfortable/itchy with the skin stretching. I will be 39wks on Monday :)
