So it all started thanksgiving night after me and my hubby spent some sexy time together 😂😆 and I started to have contractions that were pretty strong but nothing I couldn't sleep through. Well they came and went up until Saturday which by then they were really strong, just not getting close enough to really be labor but I went to l&d to get checked and I was only 1 cm (which up until that day I hadn't dilated any and I was due the next day) so I was sent home to see if I progressed anymore. Well Sunday, my due date, I was having more contractions but still they weren't getting closer, just stronger. That night I decided to take a Tylenol pm to help me sleep because I really hadn't gotten any sleep the last few nights. Well around 1-2 I woke up to even more painful contractions and decided to start timing them. I was really groggy from the Tylenol but the pain was so intense I still woke up and ended up being awake from 3 til I went to the hospital at 9!! Well once I got the hospital the contractions were coming steady at about 3 minutes apart and when the dr checked me I was 4 cm 🙌🏾 and they admitted me!! Once I was all hooked up and comfortable my nurse asked me if I wanted pain meds and I still wasn't sure because I wanted to go as long as I could without any but once the pitocin kicked in that all went out the window 😂😂 at about 3 pm my dr came and checked me and before she really could see how dilated I was my water broke! I was only 5 cm and they upped my pitocin and the contractions came back to back and were so bad I got scared so I got the first epidural and it worked but only on one side and I could still feel the contractions on my left side!! So the nurse checked me and I was 7 cm and I got the second epidural and it worked so I napped for like an hr and when I woke up it was time to check me again and it was go time!! I pushed with my nurse for about 10-15 min to get bash down more and when the dr came in I pushed 4 times and he came out!! 😍😍
