So I've bitched about moms telling pregnant women how their pregnancy is gonna go because that's what happened to them... For example "you will know for sure when your in labor trust me YOULL KNOW" or "you'll obviously know when your water breaks because it makes a big mess" "if you can walk and talk through contractions they aren't real" or just other shit like that.. It's annoying because it's NOT ALWAYS TRUE!!!! Just because that happened to you DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL HAPPEN FOR EVERYONE ELSE THE SAME DAMN WAY!!!! Every pregnancy is different. Every woman is different. Every baby and birth and labor is DIFFERENT!!! So before you tell someone they aren't in labor because their contractions aren't painful remember that! Because not everyone has incredibly painful contractions and so on. I just realized that my stepmom does this exact same thing to me. She tells me all the damn time I'll know when I'm having contractions and shit. And I had contractions for the last two damn days and didn't know it. I felt some cramping but I did not think for a second they were contractions. And then I was hooked up to a monitor and low and behold I was having pretty decent contractions 3-5 minutes apart. The nurse said there's a good chance that I won't feel contractions as much as some other women do. I have a high pain tolerance. So I could go into active labor and not even know about it. So thankfully I KNOW not to listen to other people but some women DONT. Some women think that when someone tells them that's how something is gonna go they believe it and it can end up being very very bad. So getting advice from anyone and everyone is PERFECTLY fine. But always consult your doctor first or there can be real consequences. Rant over.
Omg that is a load of crap I was batshit crazy before we even knew I was pregnant at 6 weeks! My husband and roommate could tell the difference immediately. I didn't start blaming my hormones until like last month but everyone else blames them lol
👏👏👏👏 Just yesterday my bfs mom was asking why we been bumping heads and she goes "you cant blame it on your pregnancy hormones bc that doesnt happen till your way further along" like 😲biaaaaaatch. Dont tell me i aint feeling something when i clearly know i am! I love her but she pissed me off yesterday. I told my bf straight out your mom is stupid af lmao. And i told her i know everything i need to know.. i studied maternity and know what i will feel and when and she just stayed quiet. Some people just need to keep their mouth shut and just listen. If you aint being supportive then keep you mouth shut. I wish i could of told her this lol
my friend had her baby 6 months ago. her labor consisted of waking up in the middle of the night and thinking something is not right. they hooked her up and told her she was having contractions and 3cm dilated. within 45minutes she was fully dilated and had her baby. when did she officily feel contractions? when she reached fully dilated and they broke her water. so definitely don't listen to those people. everyone is different.
Lol my mom was in active labor with me for 3 weeks but wasn't dilating. @whosmomma my mil said that that would probably happen to me but I'm already starting to dilate
Noone believes me but my hub and gyno that I was in active labor for nine days before he was born. didn't dilate. induced a week after I went into labor w baby boy ..and had him 2 days after. told everyone he'd be my April fool's night owl :)
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

so yes ima go hard in the comments bec...
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Share your son's names ?
So im due in 8ish weeks with a little boy but we cant find a name that we both love so please ladies comment your boys' names ! I need some inspiration ??
exactly!!!! I was JUST ranting about this!
I told someone I was already starting to dilate and I'm 50% effaced already but having pretty strong contractions and she's like "oh I was the same way but I was dilated to a 3 for weeks before I had my son" I'm like okay just because that's what happened to you, doesn't mean it'll happen to me, just because your son/daughter was 2 weeks late, doesn't mean my daughter will be 2 weeks late... everyone is different.
