how many oz should a two month old baby eat?

@wes.nation, I usually do everything else before I feed her unless it's night time because then it's either food or diaper then back to bed

My daughter at 2 months was drinking 2 to 3 oz. one thing I can say is yes babies are all different but don't feed them every time they cry and then as babies don't know when to sometimes stop and that can make their stomach expand too fast. So as long as they feed are getting enough wet and dirty diapers they are getting enough food. And yes at that age you don't want them to go more than 4 hours without eating. Wake them up if you have to and rub their little face with a wet towel if they seem to fall asleep while feeding.

My daughter is 2 and a half months old and she eats 4 to 6 ounces pending on her mood but she's also half giant her dads 6'3 and her poppop was 6'9.

Thats how mine is too once shes out she is out till she wakes up on her own

I tried to wake up befor but once she's out, it's impossible for me to wake her up. @anmarie1

Oh i see mydoc said don't let them go more then 4 hours with out feeding

@anmarie1, I fees her on demand so some days she'll eat every 2 ish hours. other times she'll sleep for four or 5 hours and then eat.

My daughters doc told me she should be eating 2-3 oz ever 2 to 3 hour

well she should be fine if it was a concern they'd let you know at least I would hope

@nessiereyes, one told m w to pump to make sure I was producing enough because she's in like the 6% for her weight which is low and I get anywhere from 2 to 3 oz from each, but the one who usually sees us says she's gaining fine.

maybe try asking her Dr. if she's gaining Wright normally . if she wasn't she probably would have let you know though

7 lbs 11 oz not 1

She was 6lbs 1 oz at birth and at th her 1 month she was 7 lbs 8 oz. And then 7 I lbs 1 oz the week after that. @nessiereyes

@nessiereyes, that's roughly how much mine eats but she'll eat like an oz and then wait like 30 mintues for the rest.
