I was already in labor when they broke mine it was a weird feeling like a gush of water that came out. you can always call your doctor or the hospital and explain to them what's going on. but I definitely wouldn't wait to do that. I understand your BF works but it's not good for your baby if your water breaks especially if you're not already in labor.

@bensonmomma, mine broke n section, I didn't realize it was my water cuz was wearing a pad! I wasn't having contractions

how much water is it? the er is an hour away and its 1am here and my boyfriend works at 7am so don't want it to be a false alarm

they had to broke mine in the hospital but from what I've heard when your water breaks it doesn't always come out all at once. sometimes it just leaks and it doesn't have a smell. if you think your water broke you should call your doctor or go to the ER right away
