can I refuse to have them stop my contractions?

I wasnt in labor at all, I didn't like the shots because of what they do to me. I even asked my nurse if I was in labor and she told me no and still forced me to get the shots. @lovechild426

lol why would a doctor ridk their career if they let your baby come out and it dies? idk if you have a choice but if I was the doc I would have made you too. Sorry that happened tho

Yeah there's no way they would release you if they feel it's an emergency situation but they can't force certain treatments. I assumed you'd want to stay and have the baby if you didn't take the shot. Sorry it didn't go how you wanted but Hopefully everything will work out to yours and the baby's best interest.

I refused the second round of shots and they looked at me like I just killed my baby. he's actually coming to talk to me now, has his nurses do his work for him until they can't anymore. @mommabird

the other doctor didn't even check me, he was just sitting behind the desk with all the nurses. @mommabird

I wouldn't risk it. but hey it's your baby and your body.

Just remember weight measurements at your point can be very far off. He may not be as big as the one dr thinks and maybe the other dr realizes that?

You can refuse any treatment.

Dr Thompson told me that I could go into labor because he's measuring so far ahead and that it was OK, but Dr hill is on call and he's being a douche. @evelynsmommy1208

yes but you're only 35 weeks so why would you do that. your baby might have to stay in the NICU

You shouldn't this early, unless there's a medical reason. You have one more week til full term, you should let your little guy cook. :)
